Dr Ng has in-depth knowledge of the reproductive system as well as women’s general health and will be able to provide specialised care for women of all ages.
Whilst most gynaecological problems are not life-threatening, they can be life-altering. Most gynaecological problems can be managed in a variety of ways and can include medical, surgical and/or complementary care.

You will require a referral from your general practitioner or other specialist prior to making an appointment.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
- A current referral from your GP (or specialist)
- Medicare card
- Private health card (if applicable)
- Any relevant results
DO I NEED TO HAVE PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?
- Referral is required in order to obtain medicare rebate.
- You do not need private health insurance to have an appointment with Dr Ng
- Private health insurance may pay for part or a majority of the procedure & hospital stay depending on your cover. Please contact your insurance company before the surgery to find out how much you will need to pay yourself.
HOW DO i PREPARE FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT ?
It is a good idea to write down any questions you may have before attending your appointment to ensure all your concerns are addressed. These questions may or may not be related to your current condition. It’s important to be open and honest during the appointment, regardless of how embarrassing it may seem to you.
